My first item for this year  are 72 French Voltigeurs and Tirailleurs of the Guard at rest in 28mm. All Perry miniatures.

As you can see the bases are not finished since they will be used in a fairly huge diorama commemorating the battle of Waterloo later this year.

Yesterday we finished the last of our Napoleonic 1/500th scale fleet. Just in time for the Annual Mega game this weekend... again as usual :-)

27 ships in all, all plastic kits. Most of the ships are based on the Heller Superbe (23), 2 on the Airfix Victory, and a single one on the Airfix Shannon.
Rigging is somewhat simplified and we used photo etched ratlines by Atlantis Models.

I keep saying 'we' since this was a 2 man project. Andre and I started this fleet in November last year so I can only take half the credit [Ed's note: but Andre isn't here, so you get half the credit, all the points!]

Finally found some time to take a few pictures of my latest levies and warriors for Dux Brittaniarum. 24 Levies and 22 warriors. Most of the figures are either from Footsore (ex-Musketeer), Gripping Beast metal ones, converted Gripping Beast plastic Dark Ages warriors, one or two Black Tree designs figures and a few, also mostly converted West Wind.
