Just how awkward these are to paint? Let's just say 'very'. Each unit is composed of the two Grenadier Companies of two different Regiments. Hence, varying colours of small clothes and breeches, different multi-coloured pompons, cap plates, some even with coloured enamel sections, rear bags and bracing, different facings, lacing styles, shoulder tabs, button colours. Who said Prussians were easy to paint?.....oh it was me...... :-)
