Twelve large Woodland Scenics armatures and foliage put together, and forty-two smaller fruit trees for an orchard for a AWI SP game we played yesterday. I have counted these as four buildings!

Another green week. Fifteen 2-inch palms and three groups of bamboo (about seventy 2 to 5 inch stems altogether). No idea how to count this mess. I have counted them as three buildings!

Two tanks, one infantryman: a pair of 1/76 Airfix Matilda IIs. I used parts from the Matador models resin kits to make a Frog flamethrower and a CS tank. And one 20mm mini to represent the tank officer who was with the infantry outside directing the armor.

Finished the 1/76 Matchbox M3 Stuart which was modified to Aussie specs and marked up for one of the tanks used at Buna, N Guinea. Also finished 8 improved positions, 1 small bunker, 1 medium bunker, and 1 large bunker for SW Pacific 20mm Japs:  all scratchbuilt to look like they were made from palms, earth and then covered with foliage.

Finished about a third of the trees I need for a 4' x 4' coconut plantation:  seventy 6 inch plus palms based in strips of five to seven with about 4 inches between each trunk. I had no idea how much trouble these would be! (counted as seven buildings)

But what has consumed the most time over the last month has been getting an approx. 6x6 felt sheet ready for games I'm running down at Hurricon in Orlando next weekend. I used a stencil to apply a 1 and 1/2 inch grid laid out over a white felt sheet on which I lightly painted patches of woods and a river. It has taken waaaay longer than I thought-especially since I messed up the first effort and had to start again. I've spent at least 15 hours on the thing. Ed: Tempted as I am to say "counts as one 6mm building", I shall award 150 points for this mat.

Finished seventeen 20mm figures to use as casualties for the Australians. I converted some old ESCI Commonwealth plastic minis.
 

Finally decided to bite the bullet and rebase my 20mm Australians onto 1/4 inch washers like my Japanese.  Game yesterday once again pointed out that the bases were too small for the Aussies. So this morning I rebased 70 figures.  Bit of a PITA!

I'm running a winter AWI SP game this weekend and wanted some woods that had that early Winter/very late Fall look.  So I made approximately 96 inches of scruffy treeline with dead looking trees, some with brown leaves but mostly just trunks and branches, tufts of dried grass, dead leaves, ...
