Looking at the wide marsh area   The river and pond area were unfordable except right around the demolished bridge. The Russians would use their amphibious jeeps (peeps) to cross the wide marsh area using the trees for cover.

At this point we called the game. The Soviets had lost about half of the M3 teams and two SU76s. The Germans lost both their MMGs, one Pak 38 and two Marders and one squad. They still had an uncommitted platoon out there and a Marder and a Pak 38.

The Soviets lacked the infantry to get much further but the Peep transported scouts were able to cover the river crossing and keep the Germans from getting any closer.
